So… remember that sparkling clean oven I had just a few nights ago? Well… it’s not any longer. As if to reenact the barbecue effect in the kitchen tonight, I dumped the contents of pecan pie bars on the oven floor. So, that’s why the oven is no longer sparkling clean. And why there’s a semi-melted plastic garbage sack full of burnt offerings out in the tall can.

You know what? I always seem to make pizza, with lots of extra cheese on top, the day after I clean my oven. You know what happens with the extra cheese. As you said, vanity of vanities….
