Another note of celebrating this son Posted on April 12, 2007 By pamela Samuel’s favourite hymn is: O Love that wilt not let me go. I smiled through tears just now as I listened to him play that hymn on the piano. He occasionally reads music, the rest of the time it just flows… and beautifully, I might add. Here are the words to that hymn. See Cyberhymnal to read more about it and to listen to the tune–it’s lovely. O Love that wilt not let me go, I rest my weary soul in thee; I give thee back the life I owe, That in thine ocean depths its flow May richer, fuller be. O light that followest all my way, I yield my flickering torch to thee; My heart restores its borrowed ray, That in thy sunshine’s blaze its day May brighter, fairer be. O Joy that seekest me through pain, I cannot close my heart to thee; I trace the rainbow through the rain, And feel the promise is not vain, That morn shall tearless be. O Cross that liftest up my head, I dare not ask to fly from thee; I lay in dust life’s glory dead, And from the ground there blossoms red Life that shall endless be. Family

A special birthday Posted on March 14, 2011March 15, 2011 When Timothy was born, there was a brief hush over the delivery room — enough time for me to realize there must be a problem. Fearing the worst, I asked my husband if the baby had died. No, he said, he’s going to be fine. As Timothy was born, the… Read More
