prayer

One of our greatest obstacles to prayer is ANSWERED prayer. We assume we know how God will answer - how He will work -- that because He has answered in a specific way in the past -- He will do thus now. We must seek what God *will* do, not just on what He *has* done. If we prayer for what we think God can answer, we limit Him to our own imagination instead of being open to *whatever* HE will do or however HE will answer and lead.

Timothy in Ghana

O, Timothy

Read the story of Timothy’s miraculous healing – the blessing of the Lord in his life.

Our son Timothy was a missionary in Tarkwa, Ghana, West Africa. He’ was working with Missionaries James and Francille Lucas for the sole purpose of bringing glory to the LORD by preaching the gospel and making disciples of Jesus Christ — working to establish a missionary training school that will be self sustaining and will provide training for self-sufficiency.

The African resources are very great and yet, often the focus of humanitarian aid is short term and limited. The goal of this mission is to come alongside local believers where they will be taught the Word, where they will gain proficiency in understanding both the Old and New Testaments, will be given training in productive work and shown how to use the natural and abundant African resources and above all to teach and minister to the lost, they will then naturally be more able to enter the unreached tribes and people groups with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the end, the goal for the school is that it will be fully operated by Africans and be completely self sustained.

Timothy is currently in Valle de Juarez, Jalisco, Mexico working alongside missionaries there.
