One of our greatest obstacles to prayer is ANSWERED prayer. We assume we know how God will answer - how He will work -- that because He has answered in a specific way in the past -- He will do thus now. We must seek what God *will* do, not just on what He *has* done. If we prayer for what we think God can answer, we limit Him to our own imagination instead of being open to *whatever* HE will do or however HE will answer and lead.

And… isn’t this just the epitome of man’s view of self before God?  I’m pretty sure I haven’t been this naughty?!?!

And yet… it was for sin and sinful man that God *gave* the greatest gift the world has ever known, the greatest sacrifice ever made and the greatest promise ever promised — the greatest promise ever kept and the greatest love no man could measure: the gift of the Lord Jesus.

And yet… the world goes on in its perception: [...]
